Retargeting from 200 cd/m2 to 13 cd/m2 display (filter 1.2D)

The images below demonstrate retargeting images for a dim display of 13 cd/m2 peak luminance. The images are compensated to make them appear as close as possible to the original images on a bright display.

All images were processed automatically using the same set of parameters.

The images are best seen on a display of about 200 cd/m2 peak luminance, closely reproducing the sRGB colour space. The images were generated for a distance of approx. 0.46 m on a 24 inch monitor (angular resolution of 30 pixels per visual degree).
